Do you have the heart to serve? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA/Homemaker to join our team. As a PCA/Homemaker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a respectful and compassionate manner</li><li>Assist individuals with daily living activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting</li><li>Assist individuals with tasks including laundry, cleaning around the house, and preparing meals</li><li>Ability to use the Electronic Verification Visit App to log hours and services</li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays</li><li>Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to pass a MN Dept of Human Services background check</li><li>Have not been excluded from participating in Federal or State Healthcare Programs</li><li>Ability to complete Orientation online or a combination of in-person and online</li><li>An open mind and a caring demeanor</li><li>Complete required PCA certification through the Department of Human Services</li><li>Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop down to clean and to care for clients</li><li>Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force to move objects</li></ul>
The offered wage for this position is based on experience. Employees with no experience working as a caregiver, who are considered Tier 1 according to the Department of Human Services (DHS), will be paid starting at $17 per hour. Employees with 1-3 years experience working as a caregiver, who are considered Tier 2 according to the Department of Human Services (DHS), will be paid starting at $18 per hour. As employees work with Caring Professionals Homecare over time, they will move up in tier levels and could potentially qualify for higher wages.
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or vulnerable adults</li></ul>
