Treatment Supervisor Summary:</b></p><p>
In this role, you will manage and direct the activities of a specific treatment unit, including providing supervision to staff assigned to the unit. You will ensure that all Abraxas policies and procedures are followed. You will serve as the primary role model for employees by leading, directing, guiding and supporting them in such a way that promotes their growth and development.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Treatment Supervisor Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>
Maintain employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees.</li><li>
Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.</li><li>
Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation.</li><li>
Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, documents the content of such meetings and evaluations, and provides feedback to them.</li><li>
Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met.</li><li>
Provide ongoing effective supervision to unit employees and monitors case management activities.</li><li>
Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and provides effective supervision to staff regarding the use of SCM.</li></ul><p><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human services field and one-year experience in residential treatment are preferred; OR</li><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or (sixty) 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university and three (3) years&rsquo; work experience with children.</li><li>
At least twenty-one (21) years of age</li><li>
Driver's License</li><li>
Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing.</li><li>
Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors.</li><li>
Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records.</li><li>

The Senior Program Supervisor plays a pivotal leadership role in cultivating a trauma-informed, developmentally supportive environment for both youth and staff. This position is responsible for implementing and sustaining the Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT) framework, applying the Supervision for Success model, and enhancing Unit Management systems to ensure safety, consistency, and therapeutic engagement across youth care units.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Essential Functions:</b></p><p><b>

 Operational Excellence:</b></p><ul><li>Organize and monitor work activities using effective systems and processes.</li><li>Interview and select the most qualified internal candidates for posted positions.</li><li>Ensure appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) techniques and supervise staff in their application.</li></ul><p><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b></p><p>
Supervisors must possess a college degree in human services or a related field, along with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a childcare or youth services setting. An associate degree may be accepted in place of a college degree, provided the candidate meets the experience requirement.</p><p>
Individuals promoted into supervisory roles or hired without prior supervisory experience are required to complete six (6) hours of supervisory training within ninety (90) days of hire or promotion. This training must be provided by a training academy or the designated facility/agency.</p><p>
A combination of education and experience will be considered, including:</p><ul><li><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human services, Organizational Leadership, or a related field, OR</li><li>Equivalent supervisory experience in a 24/7 care facility serving youth and/or special populations.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, particularly the ITCT model.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Commitment to the Sanctuary Model and trauma-responsive practice</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>

Job Duties:</b></p><p><br>
Creates daily educational progress notes and assessments on assigned student caseload..</p><p>
 Supports the Comprehensive Educational Plan as developed and manages a Title I educational caseload, setting short-term goals for caseload and assists students in meeting their treatment goals.</p><ul><li>Remediates individual student skill deficits under teacher or supervisor&rsquo;s direction.</li><li>Provides tutoring in General Education Diploma (GED) and Nova Net program for identified students before classes, as well as after classes at the end of the school day.</li><li>Conducts afternoon Homeroom</li><li>Evaluates students&rsquo; progress and performance.</li><li>Supports the company&rsquo;s philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.</li><li>Role models and teaches effective supervision and management of clients, interacts meaningfully with clients, and observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately.</li><li>Assures and monitors student location and movement.</li><li>Teaches and role models the Seven Key Principles.</li><li>Communicates effectively such as using various communication systems effectively, maintains regular communication with employees, peers, and supervisors, and provides constructive feedback to employees, peers, and supervisors.</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of information as it relates to client information.</li><li>Demonstrates Professionalism in Performance of Job.</li><li>Implements and mentors employees regarding the company&rsquo;s policies on professional expectations, code of conduct and other practices and procedures, serves as a role model for clients and employees and supports the company&rsquo;s mission, goals and objectives.</li><li>Maintains Safety &amp; Security of Clients &amp; Facility.</li><li>Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.</li><li>Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Minimum Job Requirements:</b></p><p>
The following educational requirements are acceptable for this classification including:</p><p>
High school diploma or GED; previous experience in developing, managing, or supervising student tutorial programs and/or prior tutorial and assessment experience as a math or language arts classroom support preferred.</p><p>
 At least twenty-one (21) years of age.</p><p>
Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State &amp; child clearances and, FBI).</p><p>
Non-communicable diseases physical exam.</p><p>
Valid driver's license from employee&rsquo;s state of residence.</p><p>
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.</p><div><b>
