Abundant Life is seeking a part-time receptionist. This position is a 12-month position. The receptionist will be the first impression of the church, school and childcare and will project a positive image of the ministry. The receptionist will perform various administrative and office management functions and ensure the timely ordering of supplies and maintenance of adequate supply levels as directed.Responsibilities<ul><li>Act as the ministry's receptionist, greeting visitors, students and parents.</li><li>Answer the phones at all times between our open hours, 1:00pm to 5:30pm.</li><li>Unlock/lock front and side doors for opening and closing of services.</li><li>Monitor security cameras and inform appropriate personnel of safety concerns.</li><li>Check messages and notify appropriate staff of absences and late arrivals.</li><li>Check for the cleanliness of the physical space around the front reception area, foyer and staff room space and inform appropriate personnel when necessary.</li><li>Accept deliveries and distribute mail/deliveries to appropriate staff members.</li><li>Order office supplies as needed and as directed, in keeping with the amounts budgeted for said items.</li><li>Communicate to appropriate personnel when students are injured or ill.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Senior Pastor, Principal and Childcare Director and other assignments as deemed appropriate by their supervisor.</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 1:00pm to 5:30pm (in person)</li><li>Year Round, 12-month position</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Two years of relevant work experience.</li><li>Familiarity with basic office-related software and systems.</li><li>Ability to operate scanners, copiers and printers.</li><li>Current First Aid, CPR and AED training, or obtain certification within 2 months of hire.</li><li>The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed.</li><li>Self-motivated and highly organized.</li><li>Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
