ABW Appliances is currently seeking a professional, highly self-motivated Purchasing Agent I for our corporate headquarters. Excellent attendance, punctuality and positive attitude are essential for this position and our business. 
Position Summary:
The Purchasing Agent I will be responsible for providing a wide range of support within our Procurement department to ensure smooth order and product flow to customers. This position will work with a variety of departments and vendors in support of this goal. This role is an excellent opportunity for a strong applicant to establish themselves and grow with a growing company. 
Essential Functions:<ul><li> Perform routine purchasing support activities.</li><li> Maintain acceptable inventory amounts based on customer orders.</li><li> Communicating with vendors to ensure production and availability of products.</li><li> Monitoring open purchase orders for fulfillment.</li><li> Following up with vendors to confirm delivery timeframe and transit schedules.</li><li> Work seamlessly with fellow team and support staff to accomplish goals.</li><li> Various other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Qualification Requirements:<ul><li> High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).</li><li> Minimum of three (3) years&rsquo; experience involving supply chain a plus.</li><li> Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.</li><li> Ability to learn new technologies quickly and deal with uncertainty</li><li> Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.</li><li> Courteous and friendly with a high level of professionalism.</li><li> Willingness to follow procedures and adhere to policies.</li><li> Ability to Multi-task and have solid organizational skills.</li><li> Able to actively listen to customer needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul> 
Position Details:<ul><li> Job Type: Salaried, Full-Time</li><li> Base Salary: $45,000 - $52,000 per year; based on experience</li><li> Benefits: ABW offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, short-term and long-term disability, paid leave (vacation, sick and safe leave, and holidays), and more.</li></ul></div>
