Summary/Objective: 
As a Specialist in Employee Experience at the Academy, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall employee journey in our organization. You will assist in developing and implementing initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the onboarding process, supporting training efforts, and contributing to various employee programs. You will collaborate with People and Culture and management to gather feedback, analyze employee data, and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Your efforts will help ensure that all employees feel valued, supported, and connected to the company&rsquo;s mission and values. 
 
This is a hybrid role, requiring the Specialist to work onsite at least 2 days per week. Additionally, the Specialist must be flexible to work at our other office locations as needed. 
 
Essential Functions of the Job:<ul><li>
Assist in the development and implementation of employee experience programs.</li><li>
Plan and organize events and activities that promote community well-being through informational sessions, activities, and events.</li><li>
Assist in creating initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and retention.</li><li>
Support the employee perks program to meet the needs and preferences of our employees while aligning the with company&rsquo;s mission and values.</li><li>
Support the planning and coordination of employee wellbeing programs and initiatives.</li><li>
Support the management of internal communication channels for employee engagement.</li><li>
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and collaborate with managers to ensure a smooth transition into the company.</li><li>
Provide resources and opportunities for employee training and professional development.</li><li>
Track key performance indicators related to employee experience using data to inform strategies.</li><li>
Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture through various initiatives and programs.</li><li>
Other projects as assigned.</li></ul>
Required Competencies:<ul><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred. Examples of related fields include Psychology, Business Administration, and Organizational Management.</li><li>
Must have at least 2 years&rsquo; experience managing projects and planning events.</li><li>
At least 1-2 years&rsquo; of experience in employee engagement, foundational HR functions, or related roles.</li><li>
Experience administrating employee surveys, analyzing results, and developing actionable plans. Understanding of employee feedback and mechanisms and survey tools.</li><li>
Ability to design and implement employee experience initiatives. Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data and metrics related to employee satisfaction.</li><li>
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidates will be asked to complete a skills assessment.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with competing deadlines and time demands.</li><li>
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment.</li><li>
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.</li><li>

Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience using HRIS platforms and creative design software (e.g., ADP Workforce, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva) is a plus.</li></ul>
Physical Demands:
<ul><li>Ability to move and transport up to 20 lbs. as needed.</li></ul>

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
