<ul><li>Billing resource to Operations Management and Business Development.</li><li>Maintain and ensure that all appropriate documentation needed for billing is documented in CAD prior to dispatch.</li><li>Schedule transport in CAD.</li><li>Obtain payment or a formal guarantee of payment prior to transport for all transports deemed not medically necessary as defined by the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS), Ambulance Policy Manual &ndash; Chapter 10.</li><li>Actively pursue and obtain copayments and deductibles prior to transport for all non-emergency transports.</li><li>Provide price quotes for all private pay transports, local and long distance and obtain payment prior to transport.</li><li>Create and maintain a strong team environment through communication, motivation, and consistency.</li><li>Represent Acadian interests during customer&rsquo;s daily patient movement/discharge meetings.</li><li>Be the primary Acadian point of contact with on site customer management base at the assigned facility.</li><li>Be Acadian subject matter expert on what services are available in the market to the assigned facility.</li><li>Other responsibilities, as assigned.</li></ul><br>

QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Knowledge of Acadian Communications, Operations, and Business Development areas and the ability to coordinate activities across these areas.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Familiarity with the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services regulations (ambulance).</li><li>Must be able to type 40-50 wpm.</li></ul><br>
