Position Summary</h3>
The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility in accordance with infection control standards and facility policies. This role plays a key part in creating a positive experience for residents, families, and staff.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas</li><li>
Follow established infection control and safety procedures</li><li>
Remove trash and transport soiled linens according to facility guidelines</li><li>
Replenish supplies as needed</li><li>
Respond promptly to housekeeping requests</li><li>
Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments</li><li>
Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred</li><li>
Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines</li><li>

Weekend Housekeeping Aide

<div>Accela Springfield Nursing &amp; Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This is a full-time, day shift position for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that a clean, safe environment plays a huge role in resident comfort and care.
We&rsquo;re looking for a team player who shows up consistently, works hard, and treats our residents and coworkers with respect&mdash;because here, everyone matters.
Position Summary
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all flooring throughout the facility. This role supports infection control, safety standards, and the overall experience of residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Strip, wax, buff, and maintain all types of flooring (VCT, tile, carpet, etc.)</li><li>
Operate floor care equipment including buffers, scrubbers, and extractors</li><li>
Perform routine and deep-cleaning floor projects as scheduled</li><li>
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary conditions throughout the building</li><li>
Follow proper chemical usage and safety procedures</li><li>
Support the Environmental Services team with general cleaning duties as needed</li><li>
Respond promptly to spills, safety hazards, and special requests</li><li>
Interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Prior experience as a floor technician or in environmental services preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness</li><li>
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods</li><li>
Dependable attendance and a positive attitude</li></ul>
