About the Role: </b>We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our SNS team. As a Solutions Consultant, you will work with customers on short&mdash;to medium-term engagements to implement the data observability needs using the Open Data Platform (ODP)</div><div></div><div><br>
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in hadoop, big data systems, kubernetes, and cloud-native systems to design and deliver MVPs, reference architectures, and demo applications for our customers. You will work closely with customer engineering teams and our internal teams to ensure successful migration, architecture and implementation, post-sales support and long-term adoption of the Acceldata ODP solution. Your ability to solutionize complex migration and deployment, optimise performance, and resolve product issues with solutions and workarounds will be critical to driving customer success.</div></div>
<div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What we look for:</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li>
Experience in successfully managing multiple B2B infrastructure software development projects, including driving expansion, customer satisfaction, migration, feature adoption, and retention.</li><li>
12+ years of experience in customer engineering, data platforms &amp; cloud technology projects that require integration to meet customer needs.</li><li>
8+ years of experience in customer-facing product implementation.</li><li>
Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.</li><li>
Design and deploy performant end-to-end data architectures, and solve complex migrations and deployments.</li><li>
Consult on design and architecture; implement strategic customer projects that lead to customers' successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Acceldata Data Observability Cloud.</li><li>
Good understanding of Data management concepts like Data Quality, Data Catalog and Data Governance.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.</li></ul></li></ul></div></div>
<div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>You are a great fit for this role if you have</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li>
Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems in hadoop + cloud and proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision.</li><li>
Experience operating Linux systems (configure, tune, and troubleshoot both Red Hat and Debian-based distributions).</li><li>
Has previously worked with customer engineering team in providing high leve support for data operational issues.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly and concisely explain tricky issues and complex solutions.</li><li>
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and willingness to support working in different time zones, and may be required to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers.</li><li>
Experience working with customer engineering team and Provide an escalated level of support for customer operational issues.</li></ul></li></ul></div></div>

We are seeking a<b> Senior Product Support Engineer - Hadoop SME (Subject Matter Expert)</b> who will be responsible for designing, optimising, migrating and scaling Hadoop and Spark-based data processing systems. This role involves hands-on experience with Hadoop and other core data operations, focusing on building resilient, high-performance distributed data systems. You will collaborate with customer engineering teams to deliver high-throughput Hadoop and Spark applications and solve complex data challenges in migration, upgrades, reliability, and optimise post-migration system performance.</div><div></div><div><br>

Troubleshooting</b>: Provide expert-level support for data or performance issues in Hadoop and Spark jobs and clusters.</li><li><b>
Data Processing Expertise</b>: Work extensively with large-scale data pipelines using Hadoop and Spark's core components
</li><li><b>Performance Tuning</b>: Conduct deep-dive performance analysis, debugging, and optimisation of Impala and Spark jobs to reduce processing time and resource consumption.</li><li><b>
Cluster Management</b>: Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to manage Impala and Spark clusters on platforms like Hadoop/YARN, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS EMR, GCP Dataproc, etc.).</li><li><b>
Migration</b>: Provide dedicated support to ensure the stability and reliability of the new ODP Hadoop environment during and after migration. Promptly address evolving technical challenges and optimise system performance after migration to ODP.</li><li>
This role requires flexibility to work in <b>rotational shifts, </b>based on team coverage needs and customer demand. Candidates should be comfortable supporting operations in a 24/7 environment and be willing to adjust their working hours accordingly.</li></ul></li></ul></div></div>
