Position: Urgent Care Physician
Location: Tele-health/100% Remote
1099 Model or Sole Proprietor: Full-time and Part-time
Salary: $150/hour plus Malpractice with Tail Coverage
Position Overview
For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Family Physicians for a 100% tele-health position within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.</li>
<li>Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.</li>
<li>Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.</li>
<li>Manage up to 4 advanced-level practitioners (FNPs and PAs)</li>
<li>Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, and EKG.</li>
<li>A Board-Certified Radiologist reads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.</li>
<li>Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Completion of a formal Family Medicine Residency Training Program</li>
<li>CA Medical License that is active and in good standing</li>
<li>DEA Certification</li>
<li>Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)</li>
<li>Must reside in the state of California</li>
