We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that promotes professional growth and meaningful patient impact.Duties<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans.</li><li>Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).</li><li>Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes.</li><li>Develop and document detailed medical records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.</li><li>Facilitate intake assessments for new clients, establishing rapport and gathering essential information for treatment planning.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.</li><li>Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to data collection efforts that support ongoing program development.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling or related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid licensure or certification as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist, or equivalent credentialing depending on jurisdiction.</li><li>Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology coordination, and grief counseling.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).</li><li>Experience with crisis intervention strategies and managing emergency situations effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes; experience with CPT coding is a plus.</li><li>Telehealth experience preferred; ability to utilize virtual platforms for patient care delivery.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices.</li><li>Strong documentation skills ensuring accurate medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience in hospital environments is advantageous.
