Job Summary Join our dynamic team at Fine Finds, Antiques and Apparel as a Merchandise Processor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail environment through efficient inventory management and merchandise handling. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help maintain optimal Daily stock levels, support customer satisfaction, and contribute to a clean, organized store. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities<ul><li>Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise using sorting and cleaning tools as well other warehouse equipment</li><li>Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper product placement and organization</li><li>Manage inventory by contributing to product rotation and weekly pulls</li><li>Operate pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload merchandise</li><li>Assist with packing and packaging of sorted product for shipment</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area, including cleaning shelves and workspaces</li><li>Support shipping &amp; receiving activities by preparing items for delivery or transfer between locations</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and locating items in-store</li><li>Collaborate with team members on merchandising initiatives to optimize product presentation</li><li>Perform heavy lifting as required to move stock safely and efficiently</li><li>Support retail sales activities through cashiering, stocking, and maintaining store displays</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure smooth operations</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous warehouse experience or retail store background preferred but not required; training will be provided</li><li>Experience operating, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus;</li><li>Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and sense of product value</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts</li><li>Bilingual or multilingual skills are beneficial for communicating with diverse customer bases</li><li>Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within a team environment</li><li>Knowledge of thrift store operations or second hand markets is a plus</li></ul>Join us in creating an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction, and store success!
