We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team.As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in managing personal injury cases through trial. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient and effective handling of cases, including document preparation, research, and communication with clients.Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing personal injury cases, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a thorough understanding of legal processes related to personal injury law.Responsibilities<ul><li>Case Management:</li><li>Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and settlement.</li><li>Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, ensuring all documents are current and accessible.</li><li>Track deadlines, court dates, and other important case milestones using case management software.</li><li>Document Preparation and Filing:</li><li>Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests.</li><li>Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts, adhering to court rules and procedures.</li><li>Research and Investigation:</li><li>Conduct legal research and gather evidence pertinent to cases, such as police reports, medical records, and witness statements.</li><li>Work with investigators, expert witnesses, and medical professionals to support case development.</li><li>Client Interaction:</li><li>Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering questions regarding case status and procedures.</li><li>Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and other case-related events.</li><li>Trial Preparation and Support:</li><li>Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, mediations, and depositions, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial notebooks.</li><li>Attend trials and depositions as needed to provide on-site support.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Spanish Speaker is a Must</li><li>Education:</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.</li><li>Familiarity with Florida court systems and procedures is highly desirable.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and procedures related to personal injury cases.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software, such as LexisNexis and Trial Works.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>High level of professionalism and confidentiality.</li></ul>Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearMonday-FridayJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
