Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! This person would be able to handle multiple accounting tasks and work with multiple clients in this role.Duties<ul><li>Manage full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Perform general ledger accounting and ensure accurate journal entries are recorded as needed.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other account balances regularly.</li><li>Utilize QuickBooks software, both desktop and online, to perform regular duties.</li><li>Prepare 1099's annually and process sales tax payments and reporting periodically.</li><li>Perform light admin work as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, ideally with part-time/full-charge responsibilities.</li><li>Strong proficiency with QuickBooks.</li><li>Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and the ability to work efficiently with the accounting software through trial balance sheet.</li><li>Communicate effectively with staff and management.</li><li>Ability to perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations efficiently and follow through with clients as necessary.</li><li>Experience with tax forms or preparation is a plus.</li><li>Education: Associates degree or 3-5 years of experience preferred</li><li>20-30 daytime hours per week, with more potential hours during busier times</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
