The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, practical experience, and the ability to handle accounting operations independently. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a UK-based accounting/compliance firm, particularly within the accounts department.Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>ACCA / CMA Qualified</li><li>Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a UK-based firm (accounts department experience preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of UK accounting standards including FRS 102 and FRS 105</li><li>Hands-on experience in preparing year-end accounts and financial statements</li><li>Practical experience in filing Corporation Tax returns (CT600) via HMRC</li><li>Experience in handling full accounting cycle from bookkeeping to finalization</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel (mandatory)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting</li><li>Ability to manage workload independently and meet strict deadlines</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Leadership ability and experience in supervising junior staff</li><li>Key Qualities of an Ideal Accountant:</li><li>High level of integrity and professional ethics</li><li>Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of tasks</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results on time</li><li>Continuous learning mindset, especially in UK regulations and compliance</li><li>Client-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence</li></ul>Compensation:Market competitiveWorking Days:Monday to FridayNote: Only candidates with relevant UK-based accounting experience are encouraged to apply.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
