 Note: This operation runs 24/7, and individual schedules are determined by volume and client needs. Weekend availability is required and the facility is only closed three days each year.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced
 
 Senior Freight-In Logistics Manager
 
 to lead and optimize inbound logistics operations across U.S. distribution and service centers. This high-impact role is responsible for managing a team of 10+ logistics professionals nationwide, coordinating across multiple time zones, and ensuring top-tier customer service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in vendor pickups, broker network management, and process optimization.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

 Nationwide Team Leadership:
 
 Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ logistics professionals across multiple regions, ensuring strong collaboration and consistent performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Vendor &amp; Broker Management:
 
 Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and logistics brokers. Oversee large-scale broker networks and ensure dedicated carriers maintain capacity and performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Customer Service &amp; Relationship Management:
 
 Serve as the primary logistics liaison for key accounts, ensuring clear communication, timely issue resolution, and high satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Process Improvement:
 
 Partner with logistics and operations leaders to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices across all locations.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Performance Management:
 
 Establish and track KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and promote professional development across the logistics team.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Operational Excellence:
 
 Oversee inbound shipment planning, unloading, and coordination, using tracking systems for real-time monitoring and on-time delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Route Optimization:
 
 Analyze and optimize shipping routes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Financial &amp; Strategic Reporting:
 
 Prepare and present logistics performance, cost, and trend analyses aligned with organizational goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Compliance &amp; Safety:
 
 Ensure operations adhere to all company policies, regulatory standards, and safety procedures.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 7 years of progressive logistics management experience with a focus on inbound operations, broker network oversight, and team leadership across multiple regions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with logistics systems such as TMS, WMS, or route optimization tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse or distribution environments with variable temperatures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and in fast-paced operational settings.
 </li>
