The purpose of this position is to administer and support employee-qualified leave of absence and time off programs such as paid time off, holiday, sick leave, short- and long-term disability, parental, military, jury duty, bereavement, workers compensation, ADA, paid care time off, FMLA, personal leave, applicable state leave, and any other employee leave. In addition, this position supports benefits administration by assisting with related processes and providing cross-coverage for continuity of service.</p><p></p><p><b><br>

Job Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Process leaves of absence for all leave-related employee benefit programs.</li><li>
Advise employees on company policy, guidelines, and documentation requirements.</li><li>
Provide employees with leave of absence paperwork and ensure that it is completed correctly, recorded, and filed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Monitor and track absence status, documentation, and return to work dates.</li><li>
Partner with third party administrator and internal payroll to ensure correct and timely leave payment, inclusive of benefit premium deductions.</li><li>
Partner with managers to develop modified work scheduling or return to work accommodations related to leave of absences and ADAs.</li><li>
Conduct themselves in a professional and empathetic manner in order to navigate employees&rsquo; sensitive situations while also abiding by company policy.</li><li>
Drafts and/or recommends revisions to Company leave policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>
May be involved in plan design and vendor selection and oversight.</li><li>
Handles benefits arrears for employees on leave.</li><li>
Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.</li><li>
Analyzes state leave laws to identify compliance gaps and potential updates to our policies/processes.</li><li>
Supports benefits administration projects such as Open Enrollment system configuration, processing qualifying life events, and other benefit-related activities, as directed.</li><li>
Collaborates with the Benefits Analyst on benefit administration activities and provides coverage during absences.</li><li>
Assists in employee education around benefits and leave programs, ensuring consistent understanding across the workforce.</li><li>
Performs other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.</li><li>

Qualifications:

Assures accuracy and timeliness of all applicable review type cases within contract requirements</li><li>
Assesses, evaluates, and addresses daily workload and queues; adjusts work schedules daily to meet the workload demands of the department</li><li>
In collaboration with Supervisor, responsible for the quality monitoring activities including identifying areas of improvement and plan implementation of improvement areas</li><li>
Maintains current knowledge base related to review processes and clinical practices related to the review processes, functions as the initial resource to nurse reviewers regarding all review process questions and/or concerns</li><li>
Functions as providers&rsquo; liaison and contact/resource person for provider customer service issues and problem resolution</li><li>
Performs all applicable review types as workload indicates</li><li>
