Position Summary</b><br>
Provides human resources and employee relations support to various departments across Achieva. Utilizes experience and knowledge of applicable laws to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: management coaching, employee relations, recruiting, workers&rsquo; compensation, among other HR responsibilities. Seeks guidance and support from other managers and employees as needed. Reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.</div></div><div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Serve as a point of contact for employees in designated departments across all HR functional areas.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure HR services meet business needs.</div></li><li><div>
Assist and advise departments on HR issues by evaluating solutions, coaching, and counseling managers and employees.</div></li><li><div>
Address employee issues as needed, including investigation coordination, policy review, past practice analysis, and corrective action recommendations.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure appropriate documentation, records, and forms are collected and filed properly.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, along with recommended best practices.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with Achieva&rsquo;s third-party administrator on leave management, including return-to-work processes.</div></li><li><div>
Perform all activities with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.</div></li><li><div>
Support the goals and objectives of the HR Department and Achieva.</div></li><li><div>
Provide high-level customer service to employees seeking HR assistance.</div></li><li><div>
Perform a wide range of employment activities from recruitment through separation.</div></li><li><div>
Use the Paycom HRIS system for HR functions.</div></li><li><div>
Utilize software such as Google Docs for document creation and reporting.</div></li><li><div>
Perform additional related duties as assigned.</div></li><li><div>
Job duties may change at any time with or without notice.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Equivalent of a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field.</div></li><li><div>
2+ years of related HR experience.</div></li><li><div>
Excellent computer skills required.</div></li><li><div>
HRIS experience is a must.</div></li><li><div>
Basic knowledge of employment laws.</div></li><li><div>
Strong ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.</div></li><li><div>
Some local travel required to other Achieva locations.</div></li><li><div>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation.</div></li><li><div>
Satisfactory FBI clearance required.</div></li></ul><p>
