The Senior PLC Engineer will be responsible for developing and commissioning PLC software, supporting system optimisation, and ensuring seamless integration of automated solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;"><b><br></b></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;"><b>Responsibilities &amp; Authorities</b></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Participation in the planning of systems</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Participation in product development and standardization</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Independent development of PLC software for the automation of machines and systems</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Carrying out technical clarifications and realizing interfaces</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Optimizing of existing PLC software and technical standards</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Commissioning of systems up to final acceptance</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Organization of commissioning and the initiation of optimization work</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Prepare and conduct training</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Contact for questions about software and programming</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Modify existing capital equipment to improve product quality, increase part throughput, decrease cost, and strengthen safety measures</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Creation of the technical documentation including, but not limited to design input requirements, specifications, testing protocols, installation, and service procedures</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Assist Manufacturing Engineering group with troubleshooting floor equipment when required</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Comply with the company safety procedures</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Provide timely and detailed status updates</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Quality – Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process driven environment</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;"><b>Requirements</b></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Completed degree in electrical engineering, training as a technician or a similar qualification</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Excellent written and oral communication skills</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Must be a self-starter, and team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Must be a creative thinker, results-oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Sharp, quick, dedicated, and innovative problem solver</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Core values and continuous self-improvement</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to think designs through completely</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;"><b>Qualifications</b></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Training as a technician or a similar qualification</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Professional experience in automation</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Excellent knowledge in PLC programming (S7, TIA) is mandatory</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Knowledge of any programming languages like CODESYS, JavaScript, VBA is appreciated</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Advanced knowledge of control and drive technology</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Ability to analyze and solve problems, independent and exact working</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Excellent team and communication skills</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Willingness to travel</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Experience</span></div><p> </p><div><span style="font-size: 11px;">Minimum of 2 - 3 years UAE experience in the same field</span></div>
