Job Overview The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the delivery of materials, supplies, and services necessary for company operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely procurement while adhering to company policies and industry standards.Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.</li><li>Issue purchase orders and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery.</li><li>Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor files, and inventory reports.</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments to assess procurement needs and timelines.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality or delivery.</li><li>Track and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budgetary constraints, and relevant regulations.</li><li>Support periodic audits and assist in implementing process improvements.</li><li>Coordinate with finance and warehouse teams for invoice reconciliation and inventory tracking.</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.</li><li>Experience in vendor negotiation and managing supplier relationships.</li><li>Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is advantageous.</li></ul>Knowledge and Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.</li><li>Strong analytical and negotiation skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks and priorities efficiently.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement tools is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
