What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></p><ul><li><b>
Supervision and Leadership:</b><ul><li>
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of line locator technicians.</li><li>
Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and foster professional development within the team.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Installation and Maintenance:</b><ul><li>
Oversee the daily ticket schedule and monitor safety, work quality and completion.</li><li>
Ensure equipment is in good working condition.</li><li>
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.</li><li>
Routinely audit field employees.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Safety and Compliance:</b><ul><li>
Maintain and monitor employee Operator Qualifications (OQ&rsquo;s).</li><li>
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>
Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.</li><li>
Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to line locating practices.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Record Keeping and Reporting:</b><ul><li>
Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and pictures.</li><li>
Prepare and submit regular reports on team activities, performance, and any incidents or issues encountered.</li><li>
Utilize computerized systems to track work orders, inventory, and other relevant data.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Customer Service:</b><ul><li>
Address customer inquiries and complaints related to locate work orders.</li><li>
Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve service issues promptly.</li><li>
Provide technical support and guidance to customers as needed.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Inventory Management:</b><ul><li>
Manage inventory of locating devices, tools, and parts to ensure adequate supply for ongoing operations.</li><li>
Coordinate with procurement to order necessary equipment and materials.</li><li>
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and loss.</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>
About You</b></p><p><b>
Must Haves:</b></p><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Must be 21 years of age or older.</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years of experience in damage prevention, line locating, or a related field.</li><li>
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of ticket management systems, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>

The Field Service Technician reports to the Project Manager at Bermex. This position plays a key role in completing service orders, which may include delivering notices, finding meters, reading meters and miscellaneous tasks necessary for the utility billing department.
