Overview We are seeking a talented and innovative Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and design, with proficiency in various CAD software and tools. This role involves creating detailed schematics, system designs, and mechanical designs that adhere to industry standards and codes. The Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from conception through execution.Duties<ul><li>Connvert engineering drawings and models from Creo 7 to Creo 4.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and consistency in the conversion process.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.</li><li>Review and verify converted drawings for completeness and adherence to standards.</li><li>Update and maintain drawing files and documentation.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the conversion process.</li><li>Provide support and training to team members on Creo 4 as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in Creo 7 and Creo 4.</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and practices.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li><li>Experience with other CAD software is a plus.</li></ul>Logistics <ul><li>Onsite - 5 days a week Troy, MI</li><li>2 month contract</li><li>Compensation: up to $57 an hour</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $40.00 - $57.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
