Job Title: Accountant Experience: 3&ndash;5 years Location: S Vyasa University , Bangalore Project: University Project (Education Sector)Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial activities for our S Vyasa University project. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, and vouchers.</li><li>Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the project.</li><li>Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.</li><li>Support audits (internal and statutory) and coordinate with auditors.</li><li>Manage project-related funds and expense tracking.</li><li>Provide accurate financial data for reporting to management and stakeholders.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting/(Master&rsquo;s degree ).</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably in the education sector.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.</li><li>Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational abilities.</li></ul>Employment Type:Full-timeSalary:Commensurate with experience and qualifications.How to Apply:Interested candidates may share their updated resumes at archana@activeedu.com or contact +91 8431911131.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;40,000.00 - &#8377;65,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>five: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Bangalore, Karnataka (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
