WE ARE SEEKING A PHYSICAL THERAPIST, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, AND SPEECH THERAPIST FOR OUR TYRONE LOCATIONActivekidz &amp; Adult Therapy&rsquo;s mission is to provide state of the art, compassionate therapy services for patients who have a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and developmental needs, with a focus on functional outcomes.Established in 2001, Activekidz &amp; Adult Therapy is a privately owned clinic offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our multidisciplinary approach allows our therapists to work together to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.Our therapists and support team join us from many different backgrounds and experiences, but share the gift of compassion that shine through their interactions with patients, their loved ones, and each other. When you walk through the doors of Activekidz &amp; Adult Therapy, you have a strong support system.In this role you will assess movement dysfunction from illness, injury, and neurological disorders and develop a treatment plan to improve range of motion, broaden flexibility, and manage pain.The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following characteristics:<ul><li>Empathy: able to sense and relate to what others are experiencing and feeling</li><li>Integrity: possesses a strong moral compass; always &ldquo;doing the right thing&rdquo;</li><li>Kindness: acts in consideration and respect of others</li><li>Flexible: adaptable to patient&rsquo;s needs and progress</li><li>Learning Mindset: continuously seeks knowledge of new methods and techniques; seeks guidance and counsel from peers and industry experts</li></ul>Responsibilities Will Be:<ul><li>Screen and assess patient&rsquo;s neurological deficits, orthopedic injuries, and gross motor delays using medical evaluations, clinical observation, family and caregiver stated routines and observations, and standardized testing</li><li>Establish a unique and well-developed plan of care designed to help patients improve motion and moderate pain</li><li>Provide therapeutic intervention; recommend strategies and activities to supplement care between sessions</li><li>Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers in the home care program including activities, exercises, and equipment</li><li>Monitor patient&rsquo;s progress and adjust therapeutic intervention as necessary</li><li>Maintain thorough notes and documentation related to patient&rsquo;s care</li></ul>Requirements Include:<ul><li>Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate Degree in Specified Discipline</li><li>Valid Georgia license</li><li>Demonstrated experience (rotations, previous positions)</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, parents, and peers</li><li>Ability to develop rapport quickly to build trusted relationships with clients and parents</li><li>Passion to help and motivate others</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Support staff for scheduling and billing</li><li>Mentor Support</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Web-based therapy software</li><li>Biweekly pay-per-visit</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match *</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)**</li><li>License Reimbursement*</li><li>Liability Insurance Reimbursement*</li><li>CEU Learning Platform Subscription</li><li>Student Loan Repayment Program</li></ul>If you desire to work in an open, caring, and peaceful environment where patients are loved, milestones are celebrated, and team members are valued, we encourage you to apply.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay Scale: Starting at $52/hr.
