This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on pain assessment</li><li>Develop individualized pain management treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic therapies, interventional procedures, and non-invasive techniques</li><li>Utilize advanced imaging modalities such as CT scans, ultrasound, and other diagnostic radiology tools to inform treatment decisions</li><li>Perform interventional procedures including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments to alleviate pain</li><li>Collaborate with specialists across disciplines such as neurology, orthopedics, psychiatry, and physical therapy to optimize patient outcomes</li><li>Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems to document assessments, treatments, and follow-up care accurately</li><li>Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and medication administration while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Participate in clinical research initiatives and stay current with advancements in pain medicine and related fields</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive knowledge of pain medicine principles and practices with experience in acute and chronic pain management</li><li>Proficiency in medical imaging techniques including CT scans and ultrasound-guided procedures</li><li>Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms for efficient documentation and patient tracking</li><li>Strong understanding of pharmacology related to analgesics, opioids, botulinum toxin treatments, and other medications used in pain control</li><li>Ability to perform interventional radiology procedures like nerve blocks or catheterizations with aseptic technique</li><li>Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on patient service excellence</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to pain pathways and treatment options</li><li>Skills in airway management, sedation protocols, and basic life support (BLS) for procedural safety</li><li>Competence in triage assessment for urgent pain cases within emergency or urgent care environments</li><li>Familiarity with clinical research protocols related to pain medicine innovations</li><li>Excellent communication skills for patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation compliance</li></ul>Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to transforming lives through expert pain management.
