 , will carry out maintenance, modification, overhauling and installation activities on the mechanical machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures, HSE guidelines and quality standards to attain effective functionality and reliability.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Mechanical Maintenance
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Carry out required daily mechanical maintenance work and routine preventative mechanical maintenance work according to set schedules and ACWA NOMAC procedures to facilitate continuous operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor the physical condition of all machines in assigned plant and report non-conformances to Mechanical Engineer / Supervisor to facilitate effective maintenance of all ACWA NOMAC facilities as per set Quality/ HSE standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to mechanical failures and implement corrective actions in adherence with procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Trouble shoot using necessary tools and spare parts which include diagnosis, repairing and checking equipment for corrosion, cracks, leaks, failures and perform necessary routine repairs to facilitate uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose causes of mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment such as defective parts replacement, adjustment, alignment, oiling, greasing and boiling and take corrective measures in collaboration with Mechanical Engineer / Supervisor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Read and understand technical manuals, mechanical diagrams and machinery drawings and apply the knowledge to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, to prepare for the mechanical maintenance to machinery in the assigned area
 </li>

 Practical Knowledge of relevant plant equipment

 Practical knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles including but not limited to identification, classification, disposal of waste and emission monitoring

 Awareness of HSE &amp; quality standards.
 </li>

 Teamwork and effective collaboration skills
 </li>

 Who will fit?
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A minimum of technical certificate / Associate&rsquo;s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 3-5 years&rsquo; experience in mechanical maintenance as a technician in installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and installations in a plant environment
 </li>

Mechanical Technician (Oman)

 What we need?
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Field Operator
 
 will monitor the Operation parameters of the system at local and coordinate with the CCR Operator in regard to all related activities that affect operation. Responsible for safe start-up/shut down of the plant as per the Standard Operating Procedures. Quick response during emergency operation of the plant
 
 .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Field Operations
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with the fire equipment in his area. Follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor/Shift In-Charge and CCR Operator.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with plant P&amp;IDs, SOPs, Work instructions, basic control logics as well as the emergency operation procedures and any other related documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor all parameters at local and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the log book.
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect the area and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the CCR Operator/ Shift Supervisor/Shift In Charge.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform equipment change over according to pre-set schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor/Shift In-Charge for isolating and lining up the equipment and system before and after maintenance. Maintain a tidy housekeeping in the work area and ensure clean up after maintenance work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in the training and familiarization of new operators.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report near misses and implement prescribed risk controls
 </li>
 </ul>

 Monitor the environmental regulatory parameters on a regular basis and report any deviations to Shift Supervisor / Engineer or CCR Operator for corrective action

 Attributes

 <li>
 Knowledge of relevant plant equipment and field operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive experience as local operator in any of the following type conventional, combined cycle, Water Desalination Plants like RO, MSF, MED etc. and Renewable Energy type Solar, Wind Mills etc. Plants.
 </li>
 <li>
 Awareness of HSE &amp; quality standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of all relevant plant processes and equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Attention to detail
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of firefighting equipment&rsquo;s.
 </li>
 <li>
