 The Terminal Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dry port, ensuring efficient and safe handling of container/cargo, and maintaining high standards of service. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dry Port, including container handling, storage, and allied transportation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure efficient and timely movement of containers, optimizing Dry Port throughput and minimizing delays.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns to the Operations Manager promptly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Efficiency is formulating workflows, developing SOPs, system (TOS) testing and working.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and maintain accurate records of all activities, including container In and Out movements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare reports as per directives of Management, highlighting key performance indicators.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with all relevant documentation and reporting requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong relationships with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Address and resolve any operational issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and effective communication.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree and/with specialization in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of port operations, safety regulations, and logistics processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Terminal management software and other relevant IT systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to write clearly and concisely and to communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 7 years of experience in Port terminal, Dry Port or CFS operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
 </li>

 Inspect and maintain the appliance (fire engine) and its equipment, assisting in the testing of fire hydrants and checking emergency water supplies.
 </li>

 Undertake drills and physical training on techniques, use of equipment and related matters; maintaining the level of physical fitness necessary to carry out all the duties of a firefighter.
 </li>

 Drive fire vehicles in a safe manner to any locations inside or outside the port in accordance with routine periodic maintenance and checks.

 Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in F ire Safety, Engineering, Science, HSE, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Firefighter Level II (at least 120 hours beyond Firefighter Level I) course including knowledge on fire, fire suppression and suppression systems, fire behavior, fire chemistry, fire rescue, firefighting equipment, fire appliance, safety, survival and hazmat operations, in accordance with NFPA 1081 (fulfilment of NFPA 1001 requirements shall be additionally beneficial)
 </li>
 <li>
 Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) &ndash; at least 16 hours in accordance with NFPA 1451 and 1002
 </li>
 <li>
 Hazmat operation level course (at least 24 hours) in accordance with NFPA 472, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, or EPA 40 CFR Part 311
 </li>
 <li>
 First responder course (OPRC Level 1 &ndash; at least 40 hours) in accordance with IMO
 </li>
 <li>
 Driving license issued in UAE
 </li>

 The Business Development Manager will support the execution of ADFH&rsquo;s commercial strategy by conducting leasing activity, developing value-added trade and logistics solutions, and attracting regional and international buyers to the hub. The role is critical in positioning ADFH as the region&rsquo;s leading B2B food marketplace, with a focus on enabling high-volume trade, integrated services, and customer stickiness.
 
 
 
 Core Responsibilities:

 Support the Commercial - Business Development function in executing the leasing plan for various facilities within the Hub, meeting occupancy and revenue targets.

 Engage with prospective tenants to understand their business needs and tailor

 Prepare pitch decks, proposals, leasing documents, and supporting materials in coordination with legal and finance.

 Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to inform sector targeting, pricing strategies, and commercial decision-making.

 Mentor and guide support teams members or analysts in research, CRM updates, pipeline tracking, and documentation preparation as required.
 </li>

 Develop integrated solutions with internal stakeholders to enhance the Food Hub&rsquo;s value proposition for tenants and traders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, develop, and support the establishment of support ecosystem partnerships (logistics, financial services, technology providers) that drive tenant growth and strengthen the Hub&rsquo;s competitive positioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the Food Hub&rsquo;s positioning by providing inputs for marketing content, digital platforms, and ecosystem narratives to attract and retain quality tenants.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the development of sectoral strategies to target high-potential customer segments aligned with Abu Dhabi&rsquo;s food security and trade objectives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Knowledge &amp; Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Educational and Technical Qualifications: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, International Trade, Food Supply Chain, or related field (Master&rsquo;s is an advantage).
 </li>
 <li>
 Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic; French is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Years of Experience: 8+ years&rsquo; experience in food sourcing and distribution, food logistics and related fields.
