</b></p><p>As a Software Developer you will participate in the support and development of Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring systems (ALCMS) , enabling airports to control and maintain their Airfield Ground Lighting installations.
</p><p>You will actively contribute to a global team of software developers, driving continuous innovation and development of our software platform, and delivering first-call solutions to system engineers deploying systems at airports worldwide.
</p><p>You should be comfortable with a wide range of software development tasks and eager to quickly learn new technologies.
</p><p>Strong expertise in <b>C# and .NET </b>is essential, with a focus on building <b>modern web applications and services </b>; experience with <b>WPF </b>for legacy migrations is a plus.
</p><p>You will be part of the Airfield Solutions Engineering Department and will grow your ALCMS knowledge by:
</p><ul><li>Actively participating in the development of the ALCMS software platform.
</li><li>Support your colleagues in design, design review, system evaluation and factory qualification testing of ALCMS software modules.
</li><li>Providing software expertise to support system project realization.
</li></ul><p><b>Responsibilities
</b></p><ul><li>Full stack, front and backend development. Migrating legacy Windows apps to platform-independent cloud-agnostic services.
</li><li>Participate in the development of new software solutions using Angular and modern web technologies . .
</li><li>Integrate and utilize services such as Keycloak, Prometheus.
</li><li>Assist with software applications in C# and the .NET, according to stakeholder requirements.
</li><li>Design efficient, secure, and reusable code structures for maximum performance and maintainability.
</li><li>Ensure effective utilization of development tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git.
</li><li>Troubleshoot and debug to ensure optimal software performance.
</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive and well-structured software documentation, including user guides, release notes, technical documents, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) to ensure transparency and compliance in software components.
</li><li>Collaborate with other software developers, product owners, project managers, quality engineers and technical writers throughout the software development lifecycle.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance to clients to ensure successful application use.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance to clients in making their applications successful.
</li><li>Awareness of software supply chain security and familiarity with Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) concepts is a plus.
</li><li>Stay up to date with current trends and technologies in the software development field.
</li><li>Analyzing functional requirements and translating them into software requirements.
</li>Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and other stakeholders.<br>

</p><ul><li>Minimum Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.

</li><li>Must have experience with OOP, usage in languages such as: Typescript, C#
</li><li>Preferably experience with REST
 </li><li>and MQTT protocols.
</li><li>Experience with WPF (.Net framework.) is considered a plus.
</li><li>Proficient and autonomous with AI tools such as Copilot.
</li><li>Proficient in Linux.
</li><li>Experience with Angular or a strong willingness to learn and work with Angular for web application development is highly valued.
</li><li>Knowledge of testing and quality assurance activities is a plus.
</li><li>Knowledge in setting up networks is a plus.
</li><li>Experience with Azure DevOps for Software planning is beneficial.
</li><li>Understanding of cybersecurity and hardening techniques is a plus.
</li><li>Knowledge of cloud/web-based infrastructure is highly valued: Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC.
