 The Role
 
 
 
 A Technical Data Analyst is responsible for performing data migration, data conversion and data validation projects for Addepar clients using existing tools and established processes. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of financial portfolio data, a foundational level of python programming skills, exceptional communication skills and the ability to deliver results in alignment with project deadlines while meeting high quality standards.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Convert, migrate and validate data from external or internal sources using existing tooling with defined processes and workflows
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete data projects on-time meeting project deadlines while adhering to high quality standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate across project teams communicating regular status updates for assigned data projects and while effectively setting expectations
 </li>
 <li>
 Run python ETL scripts and at times modify, fix or debug as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Raise keys issues to project team members and senior leadership as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Prioritize and context-switch effectively to complete simultaneous projects; seeing each through to the finish line
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to project management standard processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and drive opportunities to improve current processes, workflows and tools to increase efficiency and automation

 Who You Are
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Minimum 2+ years experience working in technology and finance
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with colleagues spread across multiple global locations
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have domain experience wealth/portfolio/investment management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Python programming language and well versed in ETL concepts
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have experience working in financial markets and has experience with financial products and wealth / portfolio data.
 </li>

 Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner

The Role</h4>

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer with a strong Java background to join our Order Management System (OMS) team in Trading!

We're building a scalable, tax-efficient trading &amp; rebalancing platform for wealth management firms of all sizes. The platform will target sophisticated rebalancing strategies across equities, mutual funds and fixed income products and send trades to be completed in the market.

We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Engineering manager who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and foster an environment that creates high quality engineering processes and product delivery. You are passionate about technology and can amplify your technical knowledge via your team. You'll work closely with our product and design teams to deliver great products for our clients.

Our engineering team primarily works in Java, Python and React, but we don't require experience with any specific tool set. We use Agile methodologies to deliver impactful business outcomes.

What You'll Do</h4>
<ul><li>Work in partnership with engineering partners and other platform users to identify requirements and priorities, and map out solutions for challenging technology and workflow problems</li>
<li>Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java applications that integrate with various data sources and services</li>
<li>Build technical skills in a high-performing team of engineers in India who can design, develop, and deploy Java-based solutions with a focus on backend services and APIs, and help other teams at Addepar build on top of the Addepar platform</li>
<li>Lay a solid foundation of the software architecture for the team in system design and code development with a strong focus on Java and related technologies</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">Who You Are</h4>
<ul><li>B.S., or M.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study (or equivalent practical experience)</li>
<li>6+ years of software engineering experience</li>
<li>Expert-level proficiency in backend development, with a focus on Java.</li>
<li>Good experience on AWS or any other cloud platform</li>
<li>Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, and/or data lake architectures</li>
<li>A strong ownership mentality and drive to solve the most important problems</li>
<li>Passion for implementing standard processes with a bias toward smart automation</li>
<li>A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a cloud context, with automated infrastructure and service-oriented architecture</li>
