We are seeking a Multimedia Specialist to work within the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Earth Sciences division.</div>
<div></div><div>You will play a crucial role in supporting GSFC Earth Sciences&rsquo; design and production needs, presenting innovative science to stakeholders and the public in an educational and engaging manner.</div>
<div>This role is part of a core science support team serving the visual communications needs of the Earth Sciences division and strategic projects.</div>
<div></div><div>This is a hybrid role and the candidate will be expected to work on-site at GSFC two days per week, though there is the potential flexibility for remote work/telecommuting at the discretion of the NASA customer.</div>
<div>Duties will include but are not limited to the following.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Produce designs for flyers, posters, infographics, brochures, and other brand materials for events and general promotional purposes;</li>
<li>Develop creative graphics to represent complex information in an engaging and visually-appealing way;</li>
<li>Provide graphic content for web, including carousels, cards, and accompanying story graphics; and</li>
<li>Ensure a consistent look and feel for all brand materials, being mindful of appropriate representation for NASA and its partners.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Required Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li><b>US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (LPR) required, with US residency for the past 3 consecutive years.</b></li>
<li><b>Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Investigation through NASA.</b></li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or a related field;</li>
<li>2-4 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience, such as an Associate's Degree with additional work experience;</li>
</ul><ul><li>Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;</li>
<li>Solid experience and understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory;</li>
<li>Experience designing for long- and short-form content creation, digital and print;</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills;</li>
<li>A self-starter attitude with enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;</li>
<li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines; and,</li>
<li>Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Education or experience in Earth or physical sciences;</li>
<li>Background in illustration; and,</li>
<li>Experience with 508 accessibility standards and compliance.</li>
</ul>

<div></div><div>We are seeking a full time Senior Science Writer/Managing Editor for multiple Project Offices based at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Earth Sciences Division (ESD) in Greenbelt, Maryland. As a Senior Science Writer, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the team&rsquo;s storytelling strategy and create, curate, and manage content across the project&rsquo;s website, newsletter, and other communications platforms. This role requires working closely with scientists and other experts to highlight innovative research, new available science data, and use cases for decision-makers and business leaders. Editing and writing for science projects requires initiative, persistence, patience, and diplomacy. Our writers sit at a pivotal point between technical experts and stakeholders, and you must be able to deliver constructive criticism that helps their work both inspire the stakeholder and satisfy the scientist. Stakeholders have high expectations for the depth and quality of NASA's communications, and this demands acute attention to detail and accuracy.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div>
<div>This sub task focuses on overall coordination and management of content for the various Project Offices at NASA GSFC. The ADNET Systems, Inc. selected candidate will work with science and project managers to develop detailed plans for content updates and oversee their implementation. This includes:</div>
<ul><li>Oversight and lead editor for the content team, responsible for delivery of website content, science stories, flyers, infographics, brochures, and other brand material;</li>
<li>Responsible for content management process to prioritize production and ensure timely delivery of content for print and digital communications platforms;</li>
<li>Manage and assign tasks to science writers and multimedia specialists;</li>
<li>Content-, copy-, and line edit all written content;</li>
<li>Fact-check and proof to ensure strong journalistic and scientific standards;</li>
<li>Provide editorial guidance for graphics, imagery, and video to support written content;</li>
<li>As needed and capacity allows step in to support other science writers and share responsibility for research and development of first drafts;</li>
<li>Support development of executive and project lead talking points and presentation materials for high-impact engagements;</li>
<li>Build and maintain a network of subject matter experts within and outside of the division;</li>
<li>Liaise with NASA Earth Sciences communications and Office of Communications as needed to ensure that content is aligned with communications strategies and adheres to standard operating procedures of NASA, the project, and partners; and,</li>
<li>Evaluate success of content based on metrics and objectives, and recommend improvements and adjustments to content strategy as appropriate.</li>
</ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in writing, journalism, physical sciences, communications, or literature or related subject and minimum of 7 years working in physical sciences, science communications or journalism;</li>
