Operated out of the Central Florida area, Advance Mechanical Systems is a Commercial Mechanical Contractor that focuses on Medical Facilities, Government Buildings, Amusement park resorts, and Schools. Incorporated in April of 2008, Advance Mechanical Systems celebrated our 15th anniversary in 2023. Our Team Members have extensive experience in HVAC construction, service, renovation, and maintenance.We are seeking an experienced working HVAC Foreman Mechanic for commercial HVAC projects in and around the Central Fla area.Do you have working knowledge of commercial HAVC such as ductwork, equipment, take-offs? We are looking for a Foreman with experience in running a project, the installation and repair of sheet metal (and ductboard) ductwork, installation of HVAC equipment and related items. The ability to design/create in-field ductwork take-offs is a plus. Are you able to lead mechanical installers towards completing tasks? You just might be the perfect fit! The qualified Foreman HVAC mechanic brings with them a desire to work hard and work correct.The right candidate will work within scheduling parameters in a construction/on-site/open air environment with some instances of weather related elements such as heat/rain/cold.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Supervise and direct HVAC installers on commercial projects&middot; Complete and oversee installation and repair of sheet metal and ductboard ductwork, HVAC equipment, and related systems (working Foreman)&middot; Coordinate field activities to meet scheduling goals and project deadlines&middot; Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, and technical drawings&middot; Generate and manage in-field ductwork take-offs. Mentor lead mechanics, mechanics, and apprentices&middot; Maintain compliance with OSHA and jobsite safety requirements and meetings. Complete Daily Logs (Raken) for assigned project(s)&middot; Communicate job progress and field conditions to the Superintendent and Project Manager. Other field project requirements as neededQualifications:&middot; Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (commercial projects)&middot; Strong working knowledge of mechanical trade standards, including SMACNA&middot; Proficiency in installing sheet metal ductwork, air handling units, exhaust fans, fire dampers, etc.&middot; Ability to lead a team, take initiative, and ensure quality control&middot; Must be physically capable of performing daily tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, squatting, etc.)&middot; Must be reliable, accountable, and safety-consciousJob Details: Full-Time, Year-Round Employment. Typical Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 7:00 AM &ndash; 3:30 PM.
