Essential Functions<ul><li>
Estimate labor hours and material costs for manufacturing activities related to proposals and contracts.</li><li>
Apply knowledge of pricing methodologies and estimating tools to develop accurate and competitive cost projections.</li><li>
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Customer Program Managers to create detailed labor hour estimates.</li><li>
Work with vendors and the Purchasing Manager to develop consolidated, priced bills of material.</li><li>
Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for use in planning, organizing, and scheduling work.</li><li>
Support bid preparation, vendor/subcontractor selection, and cost-effectiveness analysis.</li></ul>
Requirements: 
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine machining and manufacturing requirements.</li><li>
Develop time standards for CNC and manual machining processes, setups, and run times.</li><li>
Identify tooling, fixtures, and materials required for production and estimate associated costs.</li><li>
Maintain estimating database and ensure accuracy of cost data for future proposals.</li><li>
Prepare written estimates and present findings to management for review and approval.</li><li>
Assist in make-or-buy decisions, ensuring optimal use of internal resources versus subcontracting.</li><li>
Continuously refine estimating methods based on feedback, production results, and industry benchmarks.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.</li><li>
3+ years of experience in CNC machining, cost estimating, or related manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, materials (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, composites), and aerospace/defense manufacturing standards.</li><li>
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external suppliers.</li></ul>
