Position Overview
The UC Delivery Engineer will be responsible for onboarding organizations onto our Unified Communications (UC) solutions, working closely with clients and partners. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the engineer will provide technical oversight and expertise across a wide range of UC projects. Successful candidates will possess extensive knowledge of SIP and demonstrate experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Collaborate with engineers and architects to evaluate customer requirements and design appropriate solutions.</li>
<li>Produce high-quality documentation to support seamless transitions from pre-deployment to post-deployment phases.</li>
<li>Partner with department heads and project managers to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience.</li>
<li>Communicate technical issues and risks to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.</li>
<li>Provide technical consultation and leadership to external customers throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Ensure all configurations are documented and knowledge is effectively transferred to engineering and support teams.</li>
<li>Securely configure and manage Sipcom voice solutions and platforms.</li>
<li>Deliver and report on project milestones and deliverables to Project Managers.</li>
<li>Support the evaluation and implementation of customer-specific UC needs.</li>
</ul>
Experience and Qualifications<ul>
<li>
Proven experience with voice technologies and deep understanding of SIP protocols.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience configuring and managing Session Border Controllers (SBCs).</li>
<li>Familiarity with PSTN integration for cloud UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Cisco Webex.</li>
<li>Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple project tasks.</li>
<li>Knowledge of telephony systems including Contact Centers, PBXs, and Trader Platforms.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Proficient in troubleshooting voice issues using tools such as VoIP Monitor and Wireshark.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and capable of working independently.</li>
</ul>
A bonus if you have the following:<ul>
<li>
Prior experience in a project delivery or implementation role.</li>
<li>Understanding of voice regulatory requirements, particularly within the US.</li>
<li>Professional certifications from relevant vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Ribbon).</li>
</ul>
