<div>Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for overseeing the persons served medication self-administration, medication refills, infection control, and lab coordination. This role ensures the safe and accurate person served self-administration of medications, the maintenance of clinical health records, and the coordination of medical care for all residents. The Staff Nurse bridges the gap between psychiatric care and physical health, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with state regulations and standards for medication management and infection control. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Medication Management and Safety<ul><li>
Oversee the entire medicationself-administrationprocess, ensuring zero-error tolerance and strict adherence to physician orders.</li><li>
Conduct regular audits of the Medication Administration Records (MAR) and Narcotic counts to ensure regulatory compliance.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for the consulting pharmacist and local pharmacies to manage deliveries, refills, and medication destruction.</li></ul></li><li>
Resident Health and Coordination of Care<ul><li>
Perform initial health screenings and ongoing nursing assessments for residents,identifyingany acute or chronic medical issues.</li><li>
Coordinate with the Medical Director (Psychiatrist) to implement changes in psychiatric medication andmonitormetabolic or side-effect concerns.</li><li>
Facilitate communication with external Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), dentists, and specialists to ensure residents' physical health needs are addressed.</li></ul></li><li>
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Improvement<ul><li>
Ensure themedicaldepartment is &quot;survey-ready&quot; for state licensing audits andnationalaccreditation bodies (The Joint Commission).</li><li>
Develop and implement infection control policies, TB testing protocols for staff/residents, and emergency medical response procedures.</li><li>
Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) committee meetings, reporting on medication errors, health trends, and immunization compliance.</li></ul></li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li>
Education and Licensure<ul><li>
Licensure:Must hold a valid, unrestricted license as aRegistered Nurse (RN)orLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)in thestate of practice.</li><li>
Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.</li></ul></li><li>
Experience<ul><li>
Clinical Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or residential setting.</li><li>
Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of psychotropic medications and state medication administration regulations.</li></ul></li><li>
Knowledge and Skills<ul><li>
Proficiencyin using Electronic Medical Records (EHR) and Electronic Medication Administration Records (eMAR).</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage medicallogisticsfor a large resident population.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.</li></ul></li><li>

Staff Nurse

<div><div>Job Summary
The Primary Therapist is the primary clinical lead for an assigned caseload of residents within the facility. The Primary Therapist is responsible for the creation, implementation, and regular review of Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs). This role involves providing high-intensity therapeutic interventions, conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, and ensuring that all clinical services meet the &quot;Medical Necessity&quot; standards for residential care. The Primary Therapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team to move residents toward successful community reintegration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning<ul><li>
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for new residents within the state-mandated time frames.</li><li>
Develop, write, and update Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) as required by the state regulatory bodies, ensuring goals are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) and reflect the resident&rsquo;s voice.</li><li>
Interpret clinical data to identify trends in resident behavior and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.</li></ul>
2. Therapeutic Interventions<ul><li>
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care (TIC).</li><li>
Facilitate specialized clinical groups focused on symptom management, emotional regulation, and recovery skills.</li><li>
Provide clinical &quot;real-time&quot; intervention and de-escalation for residents experiencing acute psychological distress.</li></ul>
3. Documentation and Regulatory Compliance<ul><li>
Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) according to state regulations and national accreditation bodies(The Joint Commission).</li><li>
Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and transition plans in collaboration with the Case Manager.</li><li>
Ensure all documentation supports the &quot;Medical Necessity&quot; of the residential level of care for insurance utilization reviews (UR).</li></ul>
4. Multidisciplinary Collaboration</div><div><ul><li>
Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings to provide clinical updates.</li><li>
Provide clinical consultation to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to ensure the therapeutic milieu is consistent with residents&rsquo; treatment goals.</li><li>
Coordinate with external providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care.</li></ul>
Qualifications
Education and Experience<ul><li>
Minimum Requirement: Master&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related).</li><li>
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting. Residential experience is preferred.</li><li>
Licensure: Preferred to be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of practice. Associate licensed Master's-level candidates considered with residential experience and eligibility to obtain clinical licensure within one year of hire.</li></ul></div></div>

RB Primary Therapist

<div>General Description
Responsible for monitoring the safety, security, sobriety and transportation of Victory Bay&rsquo;s clients, who are in various levels of treatment for mental health. 
Tasks &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Essential Duties<ul><li>
Monitor and direct the daily schedule of clients, including performing tasks and staying on schedule to attend all treatment and activities. Organization and punctuality are key.</li><li>
Transport clients to treatment facility, and back to residence in Victory Bay transport vehicle. Comply with driving guidelines and approved routes.</li><li>
Work alongside clinical staff to aid in implementation of treatment plan goals</li><li>
Assist in implementation of specific behavioral interventions such as coping skills, emotional regulation, and tailored behavioral modification techniques</li><li>
Foster a compassionate yet accountable environment that meets the needs of clients</li><li>
Monitor clients and record observations in shift notes, reporting back on each client&rsquo;s progress and concerns</li><li>
Anticipate and respond to client needs, including crisis intervention and de-escalation</li><li>
Monitor the condition and behavior of all clients for intoxication/drug use.</li><li>
Administer Urine Analysis and breathalyzer on scheduled days of the week</li><li>
Promptly relieving previous shift and conferring with them regarding all issues and concerns.</li><li>
Conduct searches of clients at intake and assist in completing intake paperwork.</li><li>
Maintain and control company keys.</li><li>
Monitor clients and direct into group sessions or appointments when needed</li><li>
Make concerted effort to build relationships with each client, and model healthy communication as part of mental health treatment</li><li>
Manage and defuse conflict between clients impartially and respectfully. Effectively remind clients of rules and consequences of breach.</li><li>
Maintain a collegial but professional demeanor, reflective of healthy mental health, and appropriate boundaries with each client.</li><li>
Adhering to scheduled client transport and arriving to the facility in a timely manner.</li><li>
