Job Description:
Work Schedule: Friday-Sunday 6pm-6am<ul><li>
Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.</li><li>
Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.</li><li>
Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.</li><li>
Follows prescribed isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of protective equipment, performs handwashing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.</li><li>
Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously.</li><li>
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.</li><li>
Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.</li><li>
Assists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.</li><li>
Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.</li><li>
Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse.</li><li>
Assists in identifying patient needs</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div>
Education: 
 
<ul><li>High School Grad or Equiv [Required]</li></ul> 

Work Experience: 
 
<ul><li>1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred]</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience [Preferred]</li></ul> 

Licenses and Certifications: 
 
<ul><li>Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required] OR</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) [Required] OR</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) [Required]</li></ul></div>
Pay Range:
$15.16 - $24.26
