Job Description:<ul><li>Develops, implements, and evaluates recruitment plans for preceptors, DEU scholars, and adjuncts.</li><li>Provides staff education on the roles of mentor and preceptor to nursing students.</li><li>Represents the nursing program at meetings and forums to engage potential health care providers and preceptors.</li><li>Collaborates with the Vice Chair and executive administrative personnel at healthcare organizations to coordinate the preceptorship program and identify appropriate preceptors.</li><li>Liaise with the AHU Contract Manager for legal review, signature, renewal, and retention of all contracts.</li><li>Communicates with preceptors and develops, updates, and implements comprehensive orientation materials and information packets for current, new, and prospective preceptors.</li><li>Maintains databases of student assignments, preceptors, adjunct faculty, DEU scholars, clinical sites, and site evaluations.</li><li>Designs, develops, and delivers high-quality instruction and course materials including syllabi, assessments, and clinical assignments.</li><li>Assesses student performance through timely grading, feedback, office hours, clinical, and formal evaluation.</li><li>Provides academic support to students through regular communication, individualized assistance, and targeted intervention strategies, including referrals to appropriate support services.</li><li>Advises students on academic progression, course planning, and career pathways, while providing mentorship in research, clinical practice, or field-based learning as applicable.</li><li>Participates in curriculum development and review, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, and supports assessment planning.</li><li>Develops and evaluates clinical curriculum, assigns students to appropriate clinical sites and labs, provides orientation, and supervises the application of theory to practice in the clinical setting.</li><li>Contributes to program accreditation efforts and institutional effectiveness activities.</li><li>Identifies and documents student performance or conduct concerns, implements appropriate remediation plans, and follows institutional policies for disciplinary action or dismissal when warranted.</li><li>Participates in institutional committees and initiatives and represents the university at professional, community, and recruitment events as needed.</li><li>Engages in teaching, service, and scholarly activities while maintaining active membership in professional organizations and pursuing ongoing professional development.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div>

Education: 
<ul><li>Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]</li><li>Master's of Nursing [Preferred]</li></ul> 

Work Experience:</div><ul><li>3+ clinical practice [Required]</li><li>5+ of clinical teaching experience in a nursing education program [Preferred]</li></ul> 
<ul><li>2+ of large-scale clinical or project management experience [Preferred]</li></ul> 

Licenses and Certifications:

Pay Range:
$66,170.74 - $123,073.07
