<div></div><div><b>Overview:
</b></div><div>Advisors Excel is looking for a <b>Digital Video Editor</b> who can transform long-form video into engaging, high-performing digital content. In this role, you&rsquo;ll play a key part in shaping interviews, studio recordings, and marketing footage into concise, compelling videos designed for online audiences and digital growth strategies.</div>
<div>You&rsquo;ll work closely with strategists and creative teams to craft videos that capture attention, communicate ideas clearly, and turn a single production shoot into multiple pieces of impactful content.</div>
<div></div><div><b>What you&rsquo;ll do:</b></div>
<ul><li>Edit video content from start to finish including importing footage, cutting sequences, placing graphics, color correction, and exporting final files</li>
<li>Transform longer video recordings into concise, engaging pieces designed for digital marketing and social distribution</li>
<li>Collaborate with YouTube Strategist in content development and project management for client&rsquo;s organic growth marketing initiatives</li>
<li>Develop motion graphics and create compelling thumbnails for shortform digital content</li>
<li>Assist in shooting and directing video content for corporate and client marketing initiatives</li>
<li>Support studio production including client scheduling, interview preparation, and equipment setup</li>
<li>Repurpose footage to create multiple pieces of content from a single production session</li>
<li>Assist in developing visual pacing, graphics, and captions that enhance viewer engagement</li>
<li>Prepare and organize footage libraries for efficient editing and future use</li>
<li>Occasionally travel nationwide to client locations to assist with filming and equipment operation for interviews and marketing shoots</li>
<li>Record audio for company and client events when needed</li>
<li>Recommend new ideas for video content and digital storytelling that promote the company and its clients</li>
<li>Assist with maintaining and organizing video and audio equipment</li>
<li>Other duties and responsibilities as required by management</li>
</ul><div><b>Experience you&rsquo;ll bring:</b></div>
<ul><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience with video production and post-production workflows</li>
<li>Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with Adobe After Effects</li>
<li>Ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator for graphics or thumbnails</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple editing projects and deadlines simultaneously</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment with evolving priorities</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail in editing, pacing, and visual presentation</li>
<li>Resourceful in solving problems and maximizing available footage and resources</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with creative and marketing teams</li>
<li>Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond in providing excellent service to advisors, their teams, and internal partners</li>
</ul><div><b>Bonus Points:</b></div>
<ul><li>Experience editing content designed for digital marketing or social distribution</li>
<li>Familiarity with file formats, media management, captioning, and digital video optimization</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in film, media production, communications, or a related creative field.</li>
