This position is responsible for greeting patients, managing front-office communications, and supporting administrative and scheduling functions. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you&rsquo;ll be an integral member of a forward-thinking clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment.</p><p>
Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Answer incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system with professionalism and efficiency</li><li>
Verification of insurance</li><li>
Schedule and confirm patient appointments</li><li>
Transfer calls and take accurate messages according to office procedures</li><li>
Greet patients and visitors and notify the appropriate team member of their arrival</li><li>
Collect and post co-pays and communicate outstanding balances</li><li>
Check patients out and follow proper check-out protocols</li><li>
Notify the doctor when a patient cancels</li><li>
Type correspondence and office memos as directed</li><li>
Prepare charts, gather necessary paperwork, and print daily appointment schedules</li></ul><p>
Front Desk Receptionist Required Skills and Abilities:</p><ul><li>
Excellent customer service and communication skills</li><li>
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse individuals</li><li>
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and multitasking capabilities</li><li>
Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li></ul><p>
Education and Experience:</p><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Front desk or medical office experience preferred</li><li>
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus</li></ul><p>
