As a Senior Financial Analyst at AE2S, you&rsquo;ll work alongside engineers, project managers, and community leaders to bring critical infrastructure projects to completion and plan for the future. From rate design and revenue forecasting to capital improvement planning and funding strategy, your work will directly support the financial health and sustainability of critical infrastructure systems.</p>
<p>You&rsquo;ll collaborate with communities on municipal budget planning to funding development and reserve analysis&mdash;then translate your findings into clear, actionable recommendations. <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h3>
<p></p><ul><li>Communicate and build strong relationships with communities in support of project development and delivery</li>
<li>Further company business development and marketing activities in the region</li>
<li>Oversee local project management and delivery</li>
<li>Draft and deliver technical reports, proposals, and presentations</li>
<li>Collect and perform quantitative data analysis of municipal financial information</li>
<li>Develop and prepare MS Excel based computer models in support of project analyses</li></ul><br>

<b>Job Requirements:</b><br>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Basic</b></h2>
<p></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a governmental emphasis, Engineering Degree with a financial emphasis, or 2-year degree in above fields with equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel as required</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel</li></ul><br>

</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred</b></h3>
<p></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (engineering, finance, public affairs, or other related field)</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and a knack for building trust with communities, partners, and stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience creating and working in complex Excel spreadsheets and large data sets</li>
<li>Proven problem-solving skills based on quantitative data analysis</li>
<li>Ability to work independently on specific assignments</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives</li>
<li>Willing to travel as required</li>

</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h3>

<li>Experience working in a consulting or public government environment</li>
<li>History working with team members across broad geographies</li>
<li>Experience with infrastructure funding programs (grants, loans, etc.)</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Physical</b></h3>
<p></p><ul><li>Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain</li>
<li>Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time</li>
<li>Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist</li>
<li>Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight</li>
<li>May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.</li>
<li>May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear</li>
<li>May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload</li>
<li>May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town</li></ul><br>
