 We are&nbsp;seeking an organized and&nbsp;detailed person with&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in both inbound and outbound International&nbsp;Logistics&nbsp;in an organization that is ISO 9001 compliant.&nbsp;&nbsp;This role&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;accurate, efficient, and compliant handling of&nbsp;finished&nbsp;materials, products, and shipments, including adherence to U.S. and international export control regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and skilled at leading a team in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;The Logistics Specialist&nbsp;would also have a willingness to learn the basics of ISO systems and&nbsp;participate&nbsp;in maintenance of ISO systems.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 This position will report directly to the&nbsp;Operations Manager.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 
 The&nbsp;Logistics&nbsp;Specialist&nbsp;objectives&nbsp;include:
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>

 Manage daily export, shipping, and import operations, including scheduling, prioritizing,&nbsp;choosing&nbsp;and coordinating with carriers and suppliers.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Create shipping quotes.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the inspection, verification, and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify international shipments for accuracy of&nbsp;customs&nbsp;paperwork, country-of-origin labeling, and restricted party screenings.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Document processes, develop guidance, and implement process improvements to streamline&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;and reduce costs.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with U.S. and international import and export control regulations, including proper application of export control statements, licenses, and documentation (e.g.&nbsp;EAR, ITAR, ECCN, HTS codes, AES filings, Certificate of Origin, made in USA declarations, etc.)
 </li>

 Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate&nbsp;with purchasing, production, production scheduling,&nbsp;service, and sales&nbsp;departments&nbsp;to meet delivery deadlines and resolve issues and shipping claims.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage relationships with freight providers, negotiate rates, and&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;service levels.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, shipping accuracy, and inventory discrepancies.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare reports for management on shipping/receiving performance,&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;costs, and compliance issues.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications / Skills:
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of U.S. and international export controls, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Associates&nbsp;degree or equivalent experience in&nbsp;Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or&nbsp;related&nbsp;field.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Two&nbsp;(2) years of&nbsp;import and export responsibility&nbsp;&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 
 Additional&nbsp;helpful skills
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience in quality assurance,&nbsp;ISO 9001&nbsp;compliance.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to obtain Forklift certification,&nbsp;ability&nbsp;to team&nbsp;lift&nbsp;50 lbs.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous&nbsp;project management experience.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>

 Anticipated Compensation Range:&nbsp;
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 The salary range is&nbsp;
 
 $55,000 to $70,000
 
 ,&nbsp;commensurate&nbsp;with qualifications.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
