<div><b>What You'll Do Here:</b></div>
<ul><li>Provide site specific safety training and orientation to workers, owners and clients.</li>
<li>Develop and train supervisors and staff on the Health, Safety and Environmental Manual.</li>
<li>Review project plans and project sites before work commences, identifying safety-related risks.</li>
<li>Inspect active project sites to evaluate ongoing work conditions to guarantee compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.</li>
<li>Liaise with external parties such as government inspectors, sub-contractors, and general public.</li>
<li>Work with project management teams and field workers to implement and devise solutions to safety-related issues on project sites.</li>
<li>Work with management to create plans for emergency procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure subcontractors and employees comply with safety standards.</li>
<li>Represent Aecon at meetings with stakeholders and other organizations on issues regarding workplace health and safety matters.</li>
<li>Incident reporting.</li>
<li>Incident Investigations.</li>
<li>Claims Management.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>What You Bring to the Team:</b></div>
<ul><li>10 years&rsquo; experience working on heavy civil infrastructure projects, specifically bridges and major highways.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience coordinating and managing health and safety for heavy civil infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Construction Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred.</li>
<li>Background in Training and/or Education and or experience delivering EHS Training programs to individuals and groups.</li>
<li>OSHA 500 Certified is preferred.</li>
<li>Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy; excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional organizational and time management skills.</li></ul><br>
