 As a
 
 DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)
 
 , your mission is to ensure that aedifion's infrastructure and platform runs stably, scalably, and securely. You combine deep infrastructure expertise with a proactive mindset for security and automation, and together with our Senior DevOps Engineer, you play a key role in enabling development teams to work quickly and reliably &mdash; without infrastructure bottlenecks.
 
 
 
 What to expect:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Infrastructure Ownership: Take full ownership of the availability, scaling, and performance of the European cloud environment &mdash; including planning and executing updates, maintenance windows, and system upgrades in coordination with all stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Kubernetes &amp; Platform Operations: Continuously operate and evolve the Kubernetes environment (k3s, Rancher) &mdash; including container management, networking (Cilium/CNI), and ensuring stability and scalability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Automation &amp; IaC: Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Tanka/Jsonnet configurations, and systematically drive the automation of provisioning and deployment processes to sustainably reduce manual effort.
 </li>
 <li>
 CI/CD Optimization: Optimize and maintain GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines, identify bottlenecks, and accelerate build and deployment processes for secure, reproducible deliveries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring &amp; Observability: Continuously evolve the existing monitoring (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) and observability landscape, define meaningful metrics and alerting strategies, and create proactive transparency about system states for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Security Management: Develop and implement secure base images, firewall rules, and network security concepts, and support penetration tests from preparation through to the sustainable resolution of findings.

 What You Bring:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience: Comprehensive expertise in independently managing production-critical DevOps or SRE environments &mdash; you have already successfully taken ownership of system stability, incident management, and maintenance window coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 Kubernetes &amp; Cloud: Deep, hands-on Kubernetes expertise (operations, troubleshooting, scaling &mdash; ideally k3s) as well as solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure including network configuration and VM provisioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Automation &amp; IaC: Proven track record in infrastructure automation with Terraform and CI/CD pipeline optimization (GitLab), as well as experience with scripting (Bash, Python) and config management tools (Tanka/Jsonnet or comparable).
 </li>
 <li>
 Security &amp; Observability: Solid knowledge of cloud security practices (network segmentation, secure container images, firewall configuration) and demonstrated experience in building monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) including metrics design and alerting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Way of Working: Structured, self-driven working style with strong problem-solving skills under time pressure &mdash; you make technical decisions independently and communicate impacts transparently to various stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Languages: Fluent in English, written and spoken, for effective team communication and technical documentation.
 </li>
