Position Title: Mid-Level Configuration Manager
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Description of Duties:
The Mid-Level Configuration Manager supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate, as-built models and drawings for assigned area.</li><li>Use Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or models.</li><li>Review and research Change Requests and other work vehicles to complete tasks using Remedy&trade; ticketing system.</li><li>Consult with engineers to understand configuration changes to update all related drawings and artifacts.</li><li>Update and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMDB).</li><li>Write and update relevant CM documentation.</li><li>Support CM auditing activities.</li></ul>
The successful candidate will:<ul><li>Be able to work under minimal supervision</li><li>Be able to prioritize assignments for themselves and junior personnel to complete work in a timely manner</li><li>Be able to provide useful suggestions on improving processes</li><li>Be able to maintain a positive and friendly working relationship with customers and peers</li><li>Have strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Have a sharp eye for details</li><li>Be able to move between big-picture to small details thinking when needed.</li></ul>

Qualifications - External
Basic Requirements:<ul><li>Must have x, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience</li></ul>
 o May be reduced with completion of advanced education<ul><li>Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience</li><li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel</li><li>Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance</li></ul>
Desired Requirements:<ul><li>Be proficient in Microsoft Visio</li><li>Have experience using Remedy&trade; ticketing system</li><li>Have a working knowledge of IT areas</li><li>Have experience working with Configuration Management</li><li>Have an ITIL certification</li><li>Have experience with Model Based Engineering or a Modeling tool (such as Cameo)</li><li>Technical knowledge of Networks, Systems, or Databases</li></ul>
This position is expected to pay $95,000 &ndash; $110,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
