Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Owner- Independent Contractor. You must have your own 26'Box truck with lift gate, commerical insurance with Aeroswift added once you are hired. You will take charge of delivering exceptional service while having the flexibility to work independently, utilizing your driving skills and customer service expertise to ensure timely, safe, and professional deliveries. As a vital link in our logistics network, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members alike. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the freedom of independent work, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your driving talent and organizational skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to multiple locations according to scheduled routes</li><li>Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, ensuring secure handling of items</li><li>Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery deadlines</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery and addressing any concerns or questions</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, route sheets, and load/unload records</li><li>Assist with warehouse activities when needed, including moving inventory and organizing supplies for smooth operations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally</li><li>Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and inventory management</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving goods efficiently</li><li>Familiarity with equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other loading tools</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license suitable for operating a &lt;PERSON&gt; driver vehicle; clean driving record preferred</li><li>Prior experience with route driving, heavy lifting, moving cargo, or working in logistics environments is highly valued</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving expertise makes a difference!
