 At AESG we are looking for a Senior Fire &amp; Life Safety Consultant to support our Fire and Life Safety team and work alongside our other specialist disciplines
 
 .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 :
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Leading delivery and project management tasks on projects and shall report to Associates, Principals and Directors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting the successful delivery of projects to a high standard including technical support to juniors and consultants within the department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain high quality of the FLS submittals with efficient time delivery with QAQC ownership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Creating and editing of drawings and sketches in compliance with AESG CAD and PDF Standards and detailing practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and review of architectural Fire and Life Safety Drawings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and write FLS Strategy reports and studies when assigned by senior and associate consultants.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the continuous development of FLS design deliverables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the financial success of the department including projects pipeline, monthly and annual forecast, accounts receivable and efficient project delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop professional expertise in fire &amp; life safety requirements as per NFPA, SBC, IBC, and UAE FLS Codes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work on all matters relevant to fire and life safety scopes such as FLS strategy, FLS drawings, fire protection (when needed), site inspection and others.
 </li>
 <li>
 Meet the timeline set for the generation of all fire and life safety designs, reports and related submission tasks such as client meetings and workshops.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Must have/be:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelors degree level in Engineering or equivalent studies related to area of expertise.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 5+ years of FLS technical experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Native Arabic Speaker.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering working within Residential, Commercial, and Hotels sectors in the Middle East.
 </li>
 <li>
 A good understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to take a brief from the project lead and deliver &amp; control the tasks required, within time and budget
 </li>

This senior leadership role will oversee all phases of commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Project location: Ras Al-Khaimah.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in MEP project delivery and commissioning, particularly within large infrastructure or high-rise developments, and demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of commissioning projects, ensuring alignment with contractual, technical, and client objectives.</li><li>Oversee commissioning planning, execution, validation, and documentation processes across all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).</li><li>Manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams and interface with design, construction, and QA/QC teams.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and project-specific requirements.</li><li>Develop project strategies, resource plans, risk assessments, and commissioning schedules.</li><li>Represent the commissioning team in client meetings, technical workshops, and coordination reviews.</li><li>Monitor project KPIs, financials, and progress, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in commissioning methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.</li><li>Provide mentorship to project managers, engineers, and coordinators within the commissioning team.</li><li>Support business development activities, including proposals, client engagement, and strategic planning.</li></ul> Qualifications /Experience: <ul><li>Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (post-graduate education such as a Masters degree is a plus).</li><li>A minimum of 20+ years of experience in MEP project management, from hands-on to leadership roles with at least 10 years of experience in the Middle East.</li><li>Strong track record of delivering complex projects in the Middle East.
