Title: HR &amp; Accounting SpecialistLocation: Frisco, Texas (5 Days Onsite)Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR &amp; Accounting Specialist to support both human resources operations and day-to-day accounting functions.This role requires someone who can work independently, manage sensitive information, and ensure accuracy across HR and financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources<ul><li>Manage employee onboarding, new hire documentation (I-9, W-4), and offboarding</li><li>Maintain employee records in compliance with federal and Texas labor laws</li><li>Administer benefits (enrollment, changes, employee communication)</li><li>Support payroll processing (collecting inputs, validating data, coordinating with payroll provider)</li><li>Track attendance, PTO, and employee requests</li><li>Assist with recruitment (job postings, screening, interview coordination)</li><li>Ensure HR compliance and confidentiality of employee data</li></ul>Accounting<ul><li>Process accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and documentation</li><li>Assist with payroll entries and coordination with external CPA/accountants</li><li>Support month-end close and audit preparation</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of relevant experience in HR and/or accounting roles</li><li>Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)</li><li>Working knowledge of payroll processes and basic accounting principles</li><li>Familiarity with U.S. employment laws and HR compliance basics</li><li>Strong follow-up, organization, and multitasking skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and handle confidential information</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, Gusto, etc.)</li><li>Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)</li><li>Knowledge of Texas-specific employment practices</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
