The Assistant Estimation Engineer will coordinate with suppliers, collect pricing data, prepare estimation documents, and assist in ensuring timely submission of tenders and quotations.Key Responsibilities1. Estimation Support<ul><li>Assist in preparing quotations for aluminium, glass, and fa&ccedil;ade projects.</li><li>Prepare BOQs, cost sheets, and comparison statements.</li><li>Review drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.</li><li>Assist in quantity take-offs for aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, and accessories.</li></ul>2. Documentation &amp; Filing<ul><li>Maintain project files (soft and hard copies).</li><li>Organize incoming enquiries, drawings, and tender documents.</li><li>Track enquiries, submissions, and follow-ups.</li></ul>3. Supplier Coordination<ul><li>Request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Follow up on pricing, lead times, and technical details.</li><li>Maintain updated records of supplier rates.</li></ul>4. Communication &amp; Internal Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Production departments.</li><li>Assist in preparing tender clarifications and RFIs.</li><li>Communicate with clients regarding basic submission requirements.</li></ul>5. Reporting &amp; Follow-Up<ul><li>Prepare daily and weekly estimation status reports.</li><li>Monitor tender deadlines to ensure timely submission.</li><li>Follow up with team members and suppliers on pending items.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Engineering or Business preferred).</li><li>AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory.</li><li>Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>Good communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>UAE Driving License &ndash; Preferred</li><li>Female candidates preferred.</li></ul>Personal Qualities<ul><li>Professional and positive attitude.</li><li>Quick learner with initiative.</li><li>Well-organized and able to multitask.</li><li>Team player with strong work ethics.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Full-time, office-based role.</li><li>Working hours: 9:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have basic knowledge of AutoCAD?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Diploma (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Estimation/Engineering: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>UAE Driving License (Required)</li></ul>
