Your Work Schedule (2-3 Days a week)</b></div><div>
Monday: 7:45am-5:00pm</div><div>
Every other Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm</div><div>
Every other Thursday: 7:45am-5:00pm</div><div>

Your Role as a Ortho Assistant</b><br>
The Orthodontic Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. An orthodontic assistant prepares the patient for treatment and assists the Orthodontist by preparing materials and equipment for treatment for the Orthodontist use.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to doctors which includes but is not limited to charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.</li><li>
Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.</li><li>
Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating doctor.</li><li>
Ability to change and remove wires, brackets, and adhesive, take impressions, take scans, prepare teeth for bonding</li><li>
Prepares treatment estimates for review and discussion with patient.</li><li>
Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.</li><li>
Prepares patient, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.</li></ul><div><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Need to Succeed</b></div><ul><li>
Dental or Ortho Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.</li><li>
1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.</li><li>
Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).</li><li>
Current CPR certification.</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.</li><li>

Your Role as a Dental Assistant</b><br>
As a Dental Assistant, you&rsquo;ll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You&rsquo;ll prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.</li><li>
Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.</li><li>
Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.</li><li>
Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.</li><li>
Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.</li></ul><div><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Need to Succeed</b></div><ul><li>
