What You’ll Do
 As a Dental Assistant, you’ll provide exceptional chairside support while helping patients throughout every stage of their treatment experience.
 <ul>
<li>Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming, positive experience from check-in through treatment.</li>
<li>Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.</li>
<li>Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments in accordance with state regulations.</li>
<li>Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select appropriate impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.</li>
<li>Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where permitted by state law.</li>
<li>Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages.</li>
<li>Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.</li>
<li>Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state certification requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization standards by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and operatories.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.</li>
<li>Support daily office operations, including maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.</li>
<li>Travel occasionally for training and continuing education opportunities as needed.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.</li>

Qualifications
 
Required:

<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state)</li>

Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Experience with prosthodontic procedures</li>
<li>Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic patient records</li>

JOB PURPOSE: 
The Dental Assistant will assist affiliated dentists and lab professionals in the delivery of life-changing tooth replacement care to patients. Provides chair-side assistance for impressions, dentures, dental implants and oral surgery (applicability dependent on State law and scope of practice regulations). Provides best-in-class customer service to our patients.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Prepare the office to receive patients prior to opening daily</li>
<li>Provide responsive, high-quality service to patients</li>
<li>Provide patient education regarding treatment options, denture styles, packages, aftercare instructions, and pricing</li>
<li>Provide patient information regarding office policies</li>
<li>Consistently record information on the treatment router and patient history forms as instructed by the treating dentist</li>
<li>Consistently select appropriate tray sizes for patients’ impression materials, and assist dentist with patient impressions, upon direction from the treating dentist</li>
<li>Upon direction from the treating dentist, demonstrate ability to prepare wax bites</li>
<li>Upon direction and supervision of the treating dentist, and within legal guidelines of expanded duties, assist dentist with adjustments on dentures and denture insertions</li>
<li>Tally time sheets in an accurate and timely manner and give to FDA for dentist approval and signature</li>
<li>Assist treating dentist with surgery</li>
<li>Take and develop x-rays as needed (has certification, where certification is required)</li>
<li>Consistently sterilize instruments with minimal direction, including impression trays and hand piece burs and wipes down equipment after each patient</li>
<li>Escort each patient to the check out area, with appropriate paperwork</li>
<li>Maintain clean work area at all times; participate in daily cleaning duties, including vacuuming and emptying of waste receptacles, cleaning operatories and instruments</li>
<li>Inventory and re-order supplies as instructed</li>
<li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned</li>
<li>Minimal travel may be required for training and/or continuing education purposes</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Educational Requirements:

<li>Must possess an active DA and X-ray certification</li>

</ul>

JOB PURPOSE: 
The Dental Assistant/Front Office Assistant is a dual role supporting the dentist and team in delivering quality patient care while also managing front office operations. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down rooms, taking x-rays and impressions, providing post-op instructions, and assisting chairside as permitted by state regulations. Front office duties include answering calls, scheduling, patient check-in/out, discussing treatment and financial arrangements, and managing insurance billing to ensure timely, accurate claims and maximum reimbursement.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

<li>Manage phones, scheduling, patient check-in/out, and calendar coordination.</li>
<li>Collect and process payments; handle insurance verification, claims, and financial arrangements.</li>
<li>Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.</li>
<li>Educate patients on procedures, treatment options, office policies, and aftercare instructions.</li>
<li>Support the dentist during procedures, including oral surgery, impressions, x-rays, and denture adjustments (within state guidelines).</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and uphold infection control standards.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate patient records, treatment routers, and documentation as directed.</li>
<li>Manage supply inventory, order materials, and assist with office preparation and daily cleaning duties.</li>
<li>Provide excellent patient service to ensure a positive experience and smooth office flow.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical and administrative needs.</li>

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Minimum one year of experience assisting with dentures and/or implants.</li>
