JOB PURPOSE: 
The Dental Assistant/Front Office Assistant is a dual role supporting the dentist and team in delivering quality patient care while also managing front office operations. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down rooms, taking x-rays and impressions, providing post-op instructions, and assisting chairside as permitted by state regulations. Front office duties include answering calls, scheduling, patient check-in/out, discussing treatment and financial arrangements, and managing insurance billing to ensure timely, accurate claims and maximum reimbursement.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Manage phones, scheduling, patient check-in/out, and calendar coordination.</li>
<li>Collect and process payments; handle insurance verification, claims, and financial arrangements.</li>
<li>Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.</li>
<li>Educate patients on procedures, treatment options, office policies, and aftercare instructions.</li>

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Front Desk DA Hybrid

MUST BE BASED IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA OR WASHINGTON STATE TO BE CONSIDERED. MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE.
 
JOB PURPOSE: 
The Practice Development Specialist is responsible for delivering in-practice training and Field Support programs for auxiliary teams across all affiliated practices within the organization. This position partners with the Director of Field Operations, Practice Doctors and their teams, Marketing, Human Resources, and other departments. The goal of the Practice Development Specialist is to work alongside the aforementioned team members to identify practice development needs and to partner with internal Affordable Care Learning and Development team members to successfully fulfill these training requirements. Reporting to the Practice Development Manager, the Practice Development Specialist has a critical role in the development of FDAs, DAs, treatment coordinators, office managers, and other field support members.
 
Please Note: You must currently be based in Northern CA or WA State to be considered for this role. 75% Travel required. Must be willing to travel 3 weeks out of the month.
 
Salary: $64,000-$85,000

Education and Experience:

<li>Inventory and re-order supplies as instructed</li>
<li>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned</li>
<li>Minimal travel may be required for training and/or continuing education purposes</li>

</ul>
Educational Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Must possess an active DA and X-ray certification</li>
<li>HS Diploma</li>
</ul>
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>At least one year of hands-on experience assisting with dentures and/or implants</li>
<li>Experience in taking impressions for dentures preferred</li>
<li>Moderate physical activity</li>
<li>Ability to sit, stand, bend and stoop for periods of time</li>
<li>Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally</li>
<li>Work is performed in an interior dental/clinical environment</li>
<li>Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which requires following basic safety precautions</li>
<li>Experience in oral surgery and taking prosthetics.</li>
