<li>Effectively supervise groups within Logistics to ensure all customer requirements are met</li>
<li>Guide the escalation process. Review processes to ensure adherence to policy and adjust accordingly.</li>
<li>Review daily workload to ensure adequate availability of resources. Provide leadership in ongoing cost reduction and continuous improvement programs/projects.</li>
<li>Anticipate and resolve day-to-day issues, complete root cause failure analyses, and take corrective actions</li>
<li>Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.</li>
<li>Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve transportation service efficiency, speed, or quality.</li>
<li>Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics</li>
<li>Manage relationships with our TMS/MTS providers</li>
<li>Weekly calls &ndash; set up monthly meetings with key leaders- project updates, industry updates, improvements, etc.</li>
<li>Quarterly reviews</li>
<li>Manage relationships with all LTL, TL, parcel, and international providers</li>
<li>Review KPIs and customer requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure quarterly and month-end reporting is executed and validated</li>
<li>Visit Local Plants monthly and engage with shipping teams</li>
<li>Conduct RFPs: LTL, Parcel, TL (Dry-van and Flatbed), Air, International Ocean</li>

<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>

<li>4-year degree in a Logistics-related field and 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience preferred</li>

<li> 7+ years of logistics experience with TMS/MTS systems</li>
<li> Strong systems skills, including proficiency with integrated software applications</li>
<li> Thinks critically and can problem-solve</li>
<li> Computer and software knowledge required</li>
<li> Ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization and communicate effectively</li>
