WE ARE HIRING &ndash; Planning EngineerIMMEDIATE JOINING Location: Mogadishu, SomaliaDocol Group, a leading construction and integrated solutions company in East Africa, is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support our flagship 5-star hotel and mall project in Mogadishu, Somalia. The project is managed by Docol Investments FZCO and developed to UAE 5-star standards within the secure AMISOM Green Zone.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.</li><li>Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.</li><li>Monitor project progress and compare actual progress against planned schedules.</li><li>Identify delays, analyze schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams to align planning with execution.</li><li>Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves.</li><li>Support resource planning, manpower forecasting, and material scheduling.</li><li>Assist in EOT claims, delay analysis, and planning-related contractual matters.</li><li>Ensure schedules reflect procurement, logistics, and construction sequencing accurately.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5+ years&rsquo; experience as a Planning Engineer on large-scale construction projects.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project (mandatory).</li><li>Good knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and cost&ndash;time relationships.</li><li>Experience in preparing progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboards.</li><li>Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:All project-related flights coveredSecure and fully serviced accommodation within AMISOM Green ZoneIinternational-standard in-housecompany dining, laundry services, and uniformsPaid scheduled vacation leaveJob Type: Full-timePay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What are your current salary and benefits?</li><li>What is your salary expectation?</li><li>Are you willing to relocate to Somalia?</li><li>What is your notice period?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Planning Engineer: 8 years (Required)</li></ul>

Planning Engineer

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER IN SOMALIA Location:Mogadishu, Somalia secure zoneProject type:5-star hotel + convention hall construction in Mogadishu, Somalia.Project duration:2 yearsKey Responsibility<ul><li>Point of contact for Client and other consultants/contractors for the contract, design, procurement, construction, and closeout of civic projects.</li><li>Develops project specific procedures and documentation and consults with Client on design and construction contracts.</li><li>Ensures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements.</li><li>Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and requirements between Owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities.</li><li>Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, and project closeout.</li><li>Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.</li><li>Coordinates and monitors activities of contractors, engineers, architects, and related sub-consultants/contractors.</li><li>Ensures project team adheres to safety requirements.</li><li>Manages procurement services, as may be required by the Client.</li><li>Performs other duties as required.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is required.</li><li>A minimum of 15 years of experience as a Project engineer and worked as Construction Manager (or equivalent) for 5-star rated hotel or commercial building construction is required.</li><li>Experience on projects larger than $30 million preferred.</li><li>Progressive knowledge of design-phase management, construction phase management, cost and project controls, scheduling, and documentation.</li><li>Knowledge of architecture/engineering and construction principles, contracts, and delivery methods (specifically, design-build)</li><li>A thorough understanding of contracts documents, drawings, and specifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting, cost control, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settings are required.</li><li>Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not required.</li><li>Certified Construction Managers or Project Management Professionals are preferred but not required.</li></ul>Benefits Summary:Salary: Competitive, based on experience -Fully covered project-related flights -Secure and well-maintained accommodation within the AMISOM Green Zone -In-house dining, laundry services, and uniforms provided -Paid scheduled vacationJob Type: Contract Contract length: 24 monthsPay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What is your Visa status and notice period?</li><li>Are you willing to relocate to Somalia?</li><li>What is your salary expectation?</li><li>What are your current salary and benefits?</li><li>Do you have experience in 5 star hotel construction?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Construction manager: 10 years (Required)</li></ul>Application Deadline: 31/12/2025
